ELI Hosts Civil Treatment Certification Course

ELI, Inc. recently hosted their in-house, instructor Civil Treatment Basics certification course on May 10-12, 2016. For three full days, participants joined together to gain knowledge and perfect presentation and facilitation skills needed to effectively deliver ELI’s award-winning training to their co-workers.
Steve Paskoff, President and CEO of ELI, Inc., kicked off the dynamic, interactive 3-day program with a high-level overview of Civil Treatment and the foundation of the program. Participants were introduced to the philosophies, behavior models, and learning methodologies that support Eli’s unique flight-simulator approach to learning.
During the course, participants were continually challenged to effectively translate what they learned and to hone their skills through multiple practice presentations and facilitation. It proved to be three full days of engaging curriculum, but with it came rich feedback from master facilitators, questions, push back, and experience that could not have been gained in any other forum. “I found the opportunities to practice delivering sections of the training as well as the facilitator’s techniques for how to manage difficult participants especially helpful,” said one attendee. These exercises invited open and honest discussions that lead to learning the most effective way to deliver the program.
Upon completion of the course, participants were not only certified in Civil Treatment for Leaders and Employees, but in ELI’s Core Solutions courses as well. They also join more than 8,000 other individuals in ELI’s Certified Instructor Community, which offers learning and networking opportunities, downloadable presentations, course videos, facilitator guides and other resources.
