The founder of ELI® and the company’s hallmark Civil Treatment® learning solutions, Stephen Paskoff is a former trial attorney for the EEOC and partner in a nationally-known labor and employment law firm. He left private practice to help organizations increase workplace trust, address uncivil behaviors, and help clients comply with workplace requirements. He is now a nationally recognized authority on workplace legal issues and has appeared on or been interviewed by ABC’s 20/20, CNBC, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, Fox News, HR Executive Magazine, Inc. Magazine, and many other print and broadcast outlets.
He has written extensively on workplace compliance and legal issues and how to nurture work environments that align with organizations’ missions and values, including CIVILITY Rules! A New Business Approach to Boosting Results and Teaching Big Shots to Behave and Other Human Resource Challenges. Paskoff has served on the Editorial Board of Workforce Management magazine and is a contributor to The Conference Board’s Human Capital Exchange.
A member of the Pennsylvania and Georgia bars, he is a founder and former Co‐Chair of the ABA’s Compliance Training and Communication Subcommittee, which explores training and strategic best practices for maintaining corporate compliance. Paskoff has an AB degree in Government from Hamilton College and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He is also a member of the ELI® Certified Instructor Community™.
